GEMECO is pleased to host one of the first AIRMAR Certified Installer (ACI) training programs. This free 6-hour course will be included in GEMECO's 4-day Technical Training being held on February 6 - 9 in Florence, SC. Participants will receive education on current CHIRP technologies, proper installation techniques, and troubleshooting onboard issues.
All ACIs are able to provide an additional third year of warranty coverage on qualifying transducers, from the date of installation (versus two years from the date of manufacture in AIRMAR’s standard warranty). Plus, ACIs are eligible for onboard service reimbursement for any transducer that is still within the warranty period, regardless of who installed it. In addition, AIRMAR will feature ACIs on the corporate website and refer customers to certified dealers.
To become an ACI, a technician must complete the free, one-day ACI training course. At the conclusion of the course and prior to the submission of installed transducers for the exclusive three year warranty or service work reimbursement, the technician must have access to a TDT1000 Transducer Diagnostic Tester. A technician that has passed the ACI training may utilize a TDT1000 which is shared amongst the other technicians in a shop location.
